Biography
John Spring was the fifth son of Robert Spring Esq. and Anne Eden.[1] John was born about 1525 in England. His date of birth is estimated based on his position as the fifth son and the death dates of his siblings.
Little is known about John's life. His older brother, Thomas, was his father's heir and in that capacity most extant records pertain to Thomas. According to Howard, John married twice: first, to the "da[ughter] of Periin, widow of Browne" and another marriage to the "widow of Pytchess of Trumpington."[2]
