Susannah Elizabeth (Service) Leman (1848 - 1916)

Susannah (Service) Leman migrated from England to New Zealand in 1882.

Biography

Susannah Elizabeth Service was born June 1848 in Bethnal Green, London, Middlesex, England to William Walter Service and Susannah Elizabeth Service. Susannah was the oldest child out of seven children.

Susannah married Abraham Alfred Leman on 14th October 1876 at the St Dunstan Church, Stepney, London, Middlesex, England.^[1]

Susannah, her husband, and two children; Ada and Archibald, arrived in Cooktown, Queensland on 15 March 1882, as they migrated from England to New Zealand via Australia in 1882^[2]

In 1871 Susannah's occupation was a Shirt Maker^[3], she was 22 years old at the time.

On 10th October 1916 in Auckland, Susannah died at age about 68.^[4]
