Biography
Andrew Mitchel was born in about 1747, possibly in Sermans Valley, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania.
He married Margaret Snoddy (1756-1815) on Feb 22, 1775 in Rowan County, North Carolina.[1]
He died in Iredell County, North Carolina in 1805. His estate was probated in November 1805.[2]
Research Notes
Iredell County was formed from Rowan County in 1778. Since his estate was probated in Iredell County, he probably died there. This is probably not the Andrew Mitchel buried in Avery County, North Carolina[3]
