Biography

He is the son of Gerard van Loon †1194 and Adelheid van Gelre †1213^[1][2]

He was in 1188 called Graf von Rieneck, brother of Count of Loon.^[1]

He married about 1204 with Kunigunde Von Zimmern †1216.^[1] They had children:

1. Arnold van Loon †1273
2. Lodewijk van Loon †1236 ancestor of counts of Rieneck^[3]
3. Imagina van Loon †1255
