Bessie married Alexander MacVean on 29 September 1920 in Waikouaiti, Dunedin, Otago, New Zealand. [2]
Bessie died on 21 February 1981 in Matamata-Piako, Waikato, and was buried at Hampden Cemetery, Hampden, Waitaki District, Otago, New Zealand.[3][4]
