Baxter Howe (1775 - 1842)

Biography

Baxter was born in 1775 in New Marlborough, Massachusetts, to Darius Howe and Louisa Church.^[1]

• First marriage in 1799 to Florina Bill (abt.1779-1813).
• Children:

1. Dorcas (1800–1891)
2. Nancy (1804–1879)
3. Electa (1806–1889)

• Second marriage about 1820 to Rebecca Amos (abt.1785-1854).^[2]
• Children:

1. Amos B Howe ‡ (1821-1843)
2. David C Howe (1821–1895), m. Mary Cole (1821-1887)

He passed away in 1842, and is buried in the Meech Cemetery, Brutus, Cayuga County, New York, USA.^[3]
