Born in Marlborough, 23 January or June 1741 (two different sources). Married 31 March 1767, Lydia Bigelow, daughter of Amariah and Lydia (Brigham) Bigelow, born in Shrewsbury, Mass., I March 1748. They had 8 children in Templeton. She died in Templeton, Mass., 29 June 1797. He married second, I Jan. 1799, Mrs. Rachel Davis, widow of Silas Davis (maiden name Gay.) Thy had one son. He became a prominent man in Templeton, and held the office of Town Treasurer 1789-96, and died 26 Jan. 1807.^[1]
