Samuel Cook, son of Abel Cook (1803 - 1891) and Phebe (Cooper) Cook (1804 - 1891), was born August 6, 1830 in Martinsburg, Knox, Ohio, United States, and died March 12, 1925 in Lawrence, Douglas, Kansas, United States.^[1]
