Samuel Conant (1722 - 1788)

Biography

Samuel Conant was born on the 25th of July 1722 in Chelmsford, Massachusetts.^[1] He was the son of Robert Conant (1699-abt.1773) and Esther (Unknown) Conant (abt.1700-bef.1741).^[1][2]

He married Sarah (Holman) Conant (1723-1804).^[3] They raised seven children:

1. Silas Conant (1747-1836).^[4]
2. Olive (Conant) Eaton (1748-1843).
3. Samuel Conant (1750-1808).
4. Levi Conant (1752-1774).
5. Oliver Conant (1754-1843).^[5]
6. Abraham Conant (1756-1766).^[6]
7. John Conant (1758-1829).^[7]

Samuel passed away on the 15th of May 1788 and was buried in Stow, Massachusetts at Lower Village Cemetery at the age of sixty-six.^[8]
