Biography
Reinier Bertus Beeuwkes was born on 17 February 1884 in The Hague, the Netherlands. He was a Dutch footballer who played as a goalkeeper and represented clubs such as Quick and DFC.
Beeuwkes was the first goalkeeper of the Netherlands national team and played in the country’s first official international match against Belgium in 1905. Between 1905 and 1910 he earned 19 caps for the Dutch national team.
One of the highlights of his career was participating in the 1908 Summer Olympics in London, where the Dutch football team won the bronze medal after defeating Sweden in the third-place match.
Beeuwkes died on 1 April 1963 in his hometown of The Hague
Reinier was born in 1884. He's the son of Reinier Bertus Beeuwkes and Helena Susanna Huguenin.[1]
He married Christina Wilhelmina Koch in 1919.[2] They had a divorce in 1928.[3]
He married Constance de Wilde in 1929.[4]
He married Antonia Cornelia Pieternella de Wit.
He passed away in 1963.[5]
