It is once again time for our annual Italy Project check-in. Please respond within the next three weeks to let us know:

•If you would like to continue as a project member

•What team(s) are you a member of and are you happy with your current teams, or do you want to change?

•What sort of activity level do you feel should be required of everyone, in order to maintain their current project membership? (The current requirement is to maintain active membership on at least one project team and make significant improvements to at least one Italian profile annually)

•Do you have any suggestions for improving the project?

You can respond to this message by posting a reply below or sending me a private message on WikiTree. If we don’t hear from you within the next three weeks we’ll assume your interests have changed or you are no longer able to participate in the Italy Project at this time, and your badge will be removed. If your circumstances change later you will be welcome to reapply for membership.

On behalf of the Italy Project, I would like to thank you for your commitment to the project's goals. Every single contribution you make helps improve Italian profiles!

Chris, Italy Project Coordinator

Hi!

This is Chris from the Italy Project. As part of the annual project check-in, can you fill in the project survey? This will let us know that you are still interested in the project and which teams you'd like to participate in.

Thanks and have a great day!

Ciao! This is just a general check-in for members of the Italy project. I am checking to see who is still interested in being a member of the project as we go through some much needed restructuring. I was also wondering what teams you would like to be on. We’ve created teams for each part of Italy. North, South, Islands etc. They will be explained further in an upcoming g2g post. Stay tuned. For now, please let me know if you are still interested in the project and if you’d like to be a member of a team.

Hi Eric!

No it was totally easy. I used a tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ewJ1Q7x2eE8 made by Magnus.

When it was done I just took a screenshot and that was it. Google seems to only require a citation if a map is used, like "Map data ©2015 Google".

A Virginia migration map, especially due to the county changes, would be downright amazing.

Also you should check out the old Confederate Army maps; they are unreal!

Cheers, Carrie

This looks like a fairly large project - there is a pdf attached via the link on Pleasant-46 that still works that has a descendants report that might give you insights. I would definitely contact some of the folks here on wikitree like Lilia Merryman and Ila East that seem to be involved in a lot of these profiles rather than tackle it alone.

I posted my response to your comment on Pleasant-46 profile since this is who the discussion relates to.
