Best High Schools in North Carolina
Overview
North Carolina high school students take end-of-course assessments in English, math and science. State graduation requirements call for 22 credits in various subjects. Students do not need to take world language courses to graduate, but according to the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction, students must take four language credits to be admitted into any of the schools within the University of North Carolina system.
