Commission for my friend Uni of Anthy pursuing Professor Helper! 🦈
See, the context for this one is that in the video game Hypnospace Outlaw you work as an internet mod in a fictional version of the internet from the 90's. In the game, you have the option of downloading Professor Helper, which works like clippy in that it constantly interrupts you and is very annoying. And also, my comics DDLitG and Feel Less feature a character called Anthy, who deletes computer programs by eating them. See? It makes perfect sense!

I'd also like to take this opportunity to announce a couple things I'm currently working on! For starters, I'm happy to announce that now both SGO and Robot Girl Sally are available on Webtoons~! I don't actually think many of the good people at Webtoons will care about those series, but it's good to have backups of stuff, you know~
Besides these shorter gag series, I'm also currently working on a longer one-shot comic called "Studio Wang", which is about an amateur photographer that visits two professional models with the idea of a photoshoot where they kiss. I've been working on it for a while now, since it's a way more involved process than my usual comics, but I'm super passionate about seeing it through!! Here's a brief snippet:
This one's gonna take a while to come out, but I'll keep working on it on the side until it's finished. It'll go up on both tumblr and Webtoons when it's ready, so please kindly look forward to it! 💖
And finally, I'd be remiss not to mention my longer passion project Feel Less, which is also available on both tumblr (over at @dokidokiliteraturegirls) and Webtoons! This comic is an ongoing interactive story that I've been working on for years, and it's quite different from the type of comics I post on this blog. does SGO stand for anything?
It does! It stands for "Sad Girl Online". I originally conceived the character to draw vent comics, but after making a couple I felt like drawing purely to express sadness and frustration really wasn't my thing, so I shelved the character for a couple of years. I ended up rebooting her in a simpler comic style and gave her a more comedic angle, which felt a thousand times more in line with my personality and what I wanted to create. I kept the name though, because I want to believe she's the same character I came up with years ago, just doing better than before.
I guess sometimes finding your creative voice takes some trial and error!

As of this moment, she doesn't have a name yet. I didn't name her in the first comic because she was meant to be a one-off, but now I like her so much I keep drawing comics for her even though she's not named ^^;;
I thought I could continue SGO's naming scheme and name her RG for Robot Girl, buuuut.... to be honest, that's a pretty boring name 😅
I'll keep thinking and give her one later!
