follow me for OC prompts, character questions, random lists and more! I originally made this blog to help keep me and my brilliant girlfriend motivated during NaNoWriMo a few years ago but it turned out lots of writers/artists/creators on Tumblr like OC discourse, too!

  • need help naming a character or would like to request a prompt with a specific theme? my inbox is always open to you!
  • if you want to submit a prompt for other people to answer for their OCs, please begin your ask with #promptq and I'll happily add your prompt to the queue + credit you!
  • if you have an OC question you want me to answer (I've got a pretty big catalog of OCs myself and questions for ME are much appreciated and very inspiring when I get writer's block!), please begin your ask with #yourocs!
  • I try to keep the queue well-stocked so that this blog doesn't ever run out of content but occasionally I get busy and let it lapse -- apologies in advance!
  • all non-prompts (random posts, answered asks, etc.) are tagged #not a prompt so feel free to blacklist that if you're just here for the writer content!

and if, by chance, you think anything I do here on the blog is worthy of a tip, I've now got a Ko-fi!

i'm mostly meaning more behavior-based things like "A knows that B has a tendency to do [insert thing] whenever [insert other thing]" or "A knows that [insert thing to say/do] is an effective way to convince B to do something" and other things of that nature

ooh that IS weird but in a really cool way, let's see what I can conjure up

  • generally non-confrontational
  • gets anxious on Sunday nights
  • has trouble with/feels awkward when someone is visibly sad
  • reacts well to/is good with young children in public
