i like the idea of hunk being taken under coran’s wing and learning about altean medicine and growing into the role of a healer in the group, especially with being an engineer and (for the most part) being sympathetic and caring towards those he knows, i feel like it would make sense for those skillsets to translate into a medical sense

About the basic life skills they don't have
Keith doesn't know how to read an analog clock. At all. Do not ever gift him a wristwatch. Allura cannot cook, even if her life depended on it. She would rather eat something completely raw than try to cook it and inevitably burn it to a crisp in the process.
Hunk doesn't know how to do laundry. To him, there is only one washing machine setting for absolutely everything, and he sometimes straight-up forgets to sort by colors. (Lance’s favorite white t-shirt did not appreciate this move. It is now pink). Pidge, on the other hand, refuses to iron clothes. She would rather walk around looking completely crumpled than accidentally melt a piece of clothing she actually likes again.
Lance and financial literacy mix like oil and water. Taxes? Loans? Interest rates? No thanks, just give him a weekly allowance and let him live his life in peace. Shiro, meanwhile, is strictly banned from grocery shopping, because to him, absolutely nothing makes a difference. Fat percentage in milk? Artisan vs. highly processed sausages? It’s all the exact same food to him.
Coran knows how to do everything. Even things he absolutely shouldn't know how to do. Tell him he needs to learn a new skill, and give him two hours; he will become an undisputed master at it.
Voltron Hance AU
There’s that famous trope: "she fell first, but he fell harder." Lance is honestly a little embarrassed to admit that in their case, Hunk was both the one who fell first and the one who fell harder.
The first part is something Lance’s brain just can't process. How could Hunk possibly fall in love with him before Voltron? Before Lance even made it into the fighter pilot class, back when he was just a goofy cargo pilot?
But the second part is what really overwhelms him. Lance desperately wants to believe that he loves Hunk more, but his own insecurities just keep feeding him reasons why Hunk shouldn't love him at all. And yet, Hunk is always right there, effortlessly disproving every single "I'm unlovable" that Lance doesn't even have to say out loud.
And honestly... Lance couldn't be happier.
