NEW VIDEO! Jckistan installs Linux (7 times)
Hello Tumblr, I'm very tired but I'm here to tell you all about my new video.
I've been thinking about Linux a lot. My current computer, running Windows 10, feels bloated and inefficient. I also don't really like Microsoft (which you may have been able to guess, based on my Frutiger Aero video essay).
All this thought has made me curious. As a Windows user, what are Linux distros like? From my experience, the sample of distros I picked ranged from "I could probably use this immediately" to "Bazzite doesn't even try to install". Apologies to any Bazzite users.
I quite liked Mint, but I think my takeaway from this video was that I'd notice the front-end changing more. GNOME was a bit of an interesting one - I think it's the one Android uses. Not best for my use case as a desktop OS. I also tried KDE Plasma but found it similar to Windows 11, just... not terrible. Cinammon was pretty nice, however. Will have to explore it some more.
I have an idea for a Linux video in a couple weeks. I think I'll need Mint for it. See you then!
