See, the Appeal of Battletech is in the weird lore and the dynamics. Its about a bunch of people who all think theyre the true heir of earth culture being weird as fuck about it blowing eachother up in slow moving heavy as fuck machines with HUGE explosions tearing wachother apart. Mechs the size of buildings stripping off armor, limbs, slaying eachother in duels for money and glory
