Hi guys. This is my first petekey fic. Let me know what's up.

“Spellbound”

Letters jumping from my lips and arranging themselves before I can exercise my right to remain silent.

Remain a closed book for once. Mission impossible.

— Huh?

Patrick’s voice pulls me out of the darkest lake of my mind and into the light. My eyes — eyeliner purposefully smudged so nobody can tell whether you were crying again — trace his facial features as if to make sure that nothing has changed. Same sideburns burning bright.

— I ask you how you’re feeling. Spellbound? And you look it too.

His smile echoes in my chest with an immediate warmth. It’s too easy — being around him. And then there is someone else. The total opposite. Darkness that wants to seep into your bones and call your body their home. Irresistible force.

Run, silly boy, run as fast as you can. If only you could draw a line with salt to keep these thoughts away. Exorcism on your brain, breaking of the curse.

— You know me, not a dull day. — I shrug my shoulders and do a spin on the spot, shiny boy for everyone to see.

— Yeah, please, we don’t need the details, — Patrick grabs his coffee and starts walking away.

You don’t want to know, Trick, you really don’t. Nobody needs to know for how long I hold my phone in my hands every night, wrestling with the devil, trying to resist the urge to reach out. Again.

“Just one more time,” — sounds so sweet and tempting, you want to pour it into the icy glass and finish it off, to the last drop.  Soft lips wide open, beads of the sweetest liquor glimmering on the velvety skin. That’s how you want it. Don’t deny it.

I catch myself gripping my phone in one hand and completely ignoring the scorching heat against my palm. Coffee, yes. Phone?

Texting Trick instead.

“Catch you later. Xo my dude”

When I put my phone away, I am already in the yellow taxi racing against the desire. F1 if you know what I mean. My heart is the prize.

NYC. A Tribe Called Quest is bumping on the background. Somewhere on the backbeat I am recognising your beat — whether it’s heart or the strum — creeping closer and closer. And knowing you — until there is no air between us.

It gets hot in my jeans, my mind is scrambling for any memories without you in them just to distract myself.

Then the worst happens. Buzz. Stomach drop.

Your text is the next thing I see. The rest just disappears.

“Hi baby boy. In town?”

My mouth gets dry and I am ready to put my lips to the icy rim. No escape.

Baby boy.

The biggest head rush.

No substance can replicate the ecstasy suddenly rushing through my veins. All consuming.

I find myself shirtless on my hotel bed next — watching the moments of us pass by like that part from Texas, Paris.

The bliss of summer days. The intensity of our bodies buzzing from just standing close. My vortex that does not let go.

“Just for tonight.”

I finally close my eyes. The bliss of knowing what’s done is done.

I try to catch the moment you start to dream but fail every time.

Just dozed off again.

And there it was. The sound of your coming, you still got a key. I can’t hold back a smile. All the soft sounds, your pretty face lit up in the dark. The glimpse in your eyes signals the start of our game.

Not a word. You are straddling my hips and I can look at you like this forever.

I catch my breath and touch your skin between your t-shirt and your jeans. How do I tell you that you were carved out for me, and me alone? Our eyes meet. How foolish of me to think that such beauty can be tamed.

I’m counting seconds until our lips finally meet. A second away you let it go and let it loose. Your spell never fails.

— Hi, baby boy.

Our lips finally meet.

It’s a daze where you get lost and never get found because you just want to stay here. Tonight is our another forever.

I give in.

Until next time.
