To anon who keeps messaging me about a project I am taking part in: the person who was involved in creating problematic content has left the project (afaik), deleted their blog and wrote an apology for creating the said content (years in the past).
I don’t support nor create such contents.
And I don’t know what else do you want me or anybody else to do in this situation.
Are you planning to do the swimsuits with maybe the beta and alpha kids like the trolls girls? Like Rose, Jade, Jane and Roxy? 🤔
On one hand it's tempting, on the other I really need to finish a lot of deadline-specific art work right now! Not sure if I can be done with all of it before the end of the summer. Also I know if I drew the girls people would be asking for the boys too and then it's another 8 characters to illustrate lol But I'll consider it! I've recently drawn Roxy and Dirk in swimsuits actually, now that I think about it. And 10 years ago I did a beach illustration with all the Alpha kids! It's like a couple of weeks away from it's 10th anniversary. Go give it some love, I'd appreciate it :)
Why do you draw the horns differently for all of the trolls? Its something I’ve noticed and it just doesn’t make sense to me.
Oh that's a good question! I often wonder if people notice the horns lol. I do have more solid headcanons for some trolls (for example: Megidos having ram horns or Makaras having goat horns), but realistic texture for them either has to come from a matching photo OR takes a long while to paint it in a decent way. Sometimes I half-ass it, sometimes I spend more time rendering it if I feel like it. I haven't yet arrived to a simplified style that I like more so I keep experimenting. For other trolls, like Serkets or Maryams, I am never sure if I want to have a more solid structure with a little texture (bull horns) or do I want to make them rigged? Fluffy (like moose ones)? There's so many different horn varieties in nature (ossicones, antlers, exoskeleton chitinous growths, bones). So yeah I keep shuffling them up! One day I will solidify my horn headcanons maybe.
