hello and welcome to horseimagebarn this is where i write descriptions of horse pictures for my audience in order to explore the questions why how and okay as well as ponder the true nature of the equine i shall now explain the ins and outs of this blog to you for ease of navigation and understanding for this shall be my pinned post for all to enjoy number one you may submit horse images to me that you want me to write a description for and i shall try to oblige you however i receive many many many submissions and cannot always conjure up a description that is both helpful and heartful so i cannot guarantee a fulfillment of your request though i assure you every single submission is looked at and smiled at by myself no matter what number two my horses are categorized using a tagging system if you wish to navigate them here or in my archive here are all of the tags i use and links to view them number three this blog is not intended to produce image ids for screenreaders or other similar accessibility purposes and is instead meant to be read for entertainment however proper ids are provided in the alt text of most posts

decadence - fanciness and elaborateness

evil - evilness and cruelty

unusual - this is unusual

vehemence - upset or disgust

styling - for all the well dressed horses

dog - there is a dog in the image

cat - there is a cat in the image

beasts - all other animals

cute - i think this horse is cute

aquatics - the horse is in the water

uncomfortable - the horse is uncomfortable or i am uncomfortable

regular - a pretty regular and or uncontroversial image of a horse

interesting - just interesting to me

beautiful - a truly gorgeous image

weather - horse interacting with the aspect of weather

i tried to redo some of my tumblr website theme so let me know how it works also im unsure why it refuses to show all of my posts with the #neighhhh tag in my archive it only shows ones from september 2024 and prior for me for some reason does anyone know how to fix this

horses touching noses tenderly in the snow these horses love for one another is palpable as they pause side by side in their tracks which are visible in the snow and trail backwards what a beautiful intimate moment of companionship and mutual affection

happy valentines day to those who celebrate i will type a slightly late valentine’s day post in a few moments but first look at this awesome large horse plush my partner got me i like it a lot

horse that is in motion which has been captured through the art of elaborate electronic photography this horse named sallie gardner has a dark pelt and cleanly cropped tail she is notable as this collection of photographs which have been converted from their original cabinet card format to a gif file was the first time in history that people actually knew how horses moved their legs when moving as before this horses ran too quickly for proper analysis of their gaits and cameras were not advanced enough to capture them clearly in the middle of moving this feat of photography was done by setting up a series of twelve cameras triggered by the horses movement allowing each camera to capture one frame of this series of images this historic footage settled the age old debate of whether or not all four of a horses hooves leave the ground simultaneously when they run it is so easy to forget in this modern age where so much knowledge can be accessed from the palm of your hand how hard those before us worked to uncover knowledge we now take for granted everything we know comes from the determination and dreams of those humans and horses and all living things long gone it is up to us to remember their accomplishments and the circumstances that pushed them to think and to innovate we must never forget to dream lest we dishonor those who for millennia did

horse with an oddly humanesque body standing in front of a blue background in fact this horses body while unusual for a horse seems rather familiar like that of a doctor and not just any doctor in fact but doctor house the popular main character of the hit 2004 medical drama house md starring hugh laurie as the titular doctor gregory house this confused me because doctor house is not a horse however my confusion was quickly cleared up by taking a glance up past the familiar faces of the beloved supporting cast to read the words above this doctors head where we can see that i was sorely mistaken this is not doctor house but doctor horse a similar but incredibly different character from that of doctor house i do not recall this character appearing in the television show but i do have a poor memory so i will have to give it a rewatch to make sure as any television show that follows a horse headed doctor is a show i must bear witness to no matter the consequences

hello horsers i have been informed that famous tumblr historian @strange-aeons has made a patreon video about this humble blog i would like to say hello to all new horsers who have found this blog through the excellent video and thank mr strange for taking the time to explore my barnchive i especially appreciated when you read out all of my tags because i type them out individually each time and that is often the reason i forget to post because i procrastinate writing out all my tags in the specific order i want to for so long that i just forget to make a post at all so i feel very seen today i hope you enjoyed these fascinating complex creatures that i keep in my barn and will stop in every now and then to witness their majesty

i would like to also congratulate strange and offer my applause and also my condolences for reading many of my posts aloud as one of the most common critiques i receive is that my posts are too difficult to read aloud but i do not listen to them because i made this blog with an expressed purpose which was to post horse images with descriptions that are equal parts helpful and heartful and i will not change this so it is a feat of courage and tenacity that you were able and willing to read my hard work aloud for your video i award you one horseimagebarn garland of courage and tenacity which is featured below

horse that i saw today at school because my professor let me out early to see the miniature horses that were hanging out with the equestrian club in the middle of campus i tried to pretend to be normal about it but forgot that i was wearing a horse shirt and also have a horse phone case and horse key carabiner so i probably looked a little crazy but it is okay because i got to pet this beautiful brown creature who was receiving some good scratches from another admirer and also wearing a cute blue halter with red tractors on it and a yellow bandana i also got to give him a delicious peppermint treat and buy some stickers and pins to support my local equestrian club overall this was a wonderful experience

horse in some kind of retail store it stands behind a metal counter atop which sits a computer monitor and pc box accompanied by a keyboard and a mouse and other accessories this computer setup is the object of our horse friends attention as it intelligently uses its muzzle which along with the rest of its head is adorned with a fashionable purple halter to manipulate the computer mouse perhaps this horse is an employee of this fine establishment and is being photographed in the middle of assisting a customer by looking up an item they need or otherwise aiding their shopping experience
