why has my cold/sinus infection/whatever current illness it is suddenly also made my nerve damage pain flare up so bad. i have like all just classic cold symptoms but then also just my left wrist is sporadically flashing with sharp pain, like electric shocks at random intervals now too ???

huuuuuuuuuuu im starting to run a low fever and i feel like shit but i already tried to ask for today off last week and got told no and my shift starts in an hour so if i call out now they will 100% think im just trying to bail

oh also update on the whole “helping an 83 year old woman change her legal name over the phone” thing: we called today and it seems like now she’s got a social worker and an outreach group volunteer both helping her with her case now which is a huge relief bc it turns out theyve changed the documents needed for a name change since i got one 4 years ago and i was kinda scrambling to source the updated documents. we ended up just chatting for a while instead, she is very nice :) i hope things continue to improve for her and her situation is resolved soon
