Be please respectful to others: When discussing headcanons and different interpretations, pls be mindful of other's opinions and thoughts.

Keep talk of other ships to a minimum: This is a rodydeku community for a reason. Talk of any other deku or rody ships should go some place else.

NO NSFW: This is for my, and possibly other members of the community's comfort. Discussing sexuality is fine, just keep it pg. Any nsfw content will be deleted.

Absolutely no AI: We don't support ai in this house. All your thoughts, art, or writing should come from your own creativity thank you.

No reposting art w/o credit: If you wanna show art you find, make sure to see if the artist is okay with reposts and that you know who the artist is. Remember, these fanarts are things people put hard work and time into, so we should respect that.

Y'all ever think about the fact that Rody would probably have a weird mix of empty nest syndrome, and increased personal freedom once Roro and Lala are all grown up?

like,,, he RAISED those kids. Hes incredibly used to taking care of small people, and he hasn't really had a time where he doesnt have to take into account how his actions will help the people that depend on him to provide for them.

His formative years were spent shaping his siblings lives and being the sole parental figure. This would be his fiest time since he was like 12(?) that he wouldn't have to plan everything around and for them.

Hed still have Pino and Izuku, but itd be just them, and I wanna know how you guys think hed handle that.

Had an idea for a Shipwrecked au where Rody and Izuku are trying to keep the little soul siblings alive, but I ended up getting really into making a magic system, and all of a sudden they're pirates, and spirits, and Its now the plot of WHM but 17 universes to the left.

So now I'm thinking maybe they go through the whole plot and stuffs, and THEN they get shipwrecked on the way back. for the lols.

I did alot of unnesisary worldbuilding, and now it feels like it should be the 3rd fic in a long series tbh.

I wrote our this whole trainwreck list of plot points somewhere (on paper), and could digitalize it if y'all are interested, but it's really alot of messy rambles that are ATTEMPTING to consolidate. maybe I'll get around to writing the ACTUAL fic later lol. eventually.

HC: when Deku wasn't out yet, his lock screen wasn't Rody. It was Pino, so he wouldn't have to explain to people that he had a boyfriend. Rody sent a bunch of pictures of Pino in various poses to help

Really curious to see as generally it's either or when I see people writing timeskip RodyDeku and they are so distinct from one another

man, everytime I go to make a mha au, I cant help but be like “wait, but how will this affect Rody Soul and his family :(”

and I'm almost annoying myself with it, bc I have some cool ideas, but love rody so much that I keep thinking abt him the whole time, and end up mentally having to create my own short little happy plot line for him to get a happy ending even if everthing in Japan has crumbled

since I'm writing a story where Rody and Deku journal, my hc:

post cannon, when Rody lives with Deku, and Deku is a famous hero, Deku gets Rody a Paper Republic portfolio in cognac. Rody isn't used to having disposable income, let alone expensive things, and would never get it for himself. But Deku has watched as Rody has become a big fan of having somewhere to get his thoughts out privately. And he has a couple of notebooks now, but he doesn't have a lot of ways to protect them (not that he'd be too bothered by wear and tear). Regardless, Deku put a lot of thought into what to get him. And I feel like Rody would prefer pocket notebooks, so really it'd be less expensive for Deku than if he had a bunch of A4's or something. And he makes sure Rody knows to help him feel better about the expense. Rody has gotten used to Deku buying him notebooks for more than he'd personally spend, but a whole portfolio makes him a bit overwhelmed- with appreciation of course. Also with worry, but he makes sure to use it every day, and it even gets a patina fast.

Rody ends up asking why he didn't get one for himself since Deku has a much more chaotic lifestyle than he does at this point. But a. after Deku's notebook got damaged by Bakugo in middle school, he welcomes the wear and tear since it reminds him of where he came from. And b. he remembers that he was the first person to get Rody a gift in a long time when he gave him his first notebook, and I like to think he realized gift giving is a love language of his, but he doesn't want to just give meaningless gifts that would do nothing but worry Rody. So he chooses things that would be really personal and important to him.

Rody, as a thank you, starts a notebook that Deku is allowed to read without asking for special permission. He leaves it on their nightstand. It's not his deepest darkest journal entries, but it's earnest notes that he makes about life and love.
