Welcome to the Deltarune theorists community!
"Rules"
- NEW RULE ADDED: PLEASE just use they for Kris. I understand it can be hard if you're not used to it or if your original language is gendered, but at least TRY. Everyone in the game, including their childhood friend and their mother who have known them for years, says they, and the game makes it very clear Kris is NOT supposed to be a self insert. Using he or she will NOT get you kicked or banned, but please just accept your mistake and fix it.
- But if you actively try to ARGUE about them being a man or a woman even though there is literally nothing in the game implying that, you'll get kicked. It's not speculation or theory, it's just saying something confirmed to be wrong because you don't want to accept it. Theories about a character being trans/enby are allowed, but erasing a character's canon transness/enbyness is not allowed.
- Also, other NB characters shouldn't be misgendered either. Seam, Napstablook, Monster Kid/Teen, Jongler, Frisk, and Chara, are referred to with they, Shuttah, Napstablook, and Chara are referred to with it, and the Knight (called they and it by characters who don't know it personally and to keep it a mystery), Eram, and Friend are so far unknown, and people usually avoid using pronouns for Seam when possible in the game. The same rule as Kris applies here, even if I didn't mention the character (reminder, you won't get banned unless you INSIST on misgendering the character).
- It has to be related to Deltarune theorizing or an analysis of something related to the game. (Undertale is related enough to post theories/analysis about it here since most Deltarune characters are from Undertale and there are parallels between the two stories). Art does not count as related enough (it's okay if it theorizes on something, tries predicting something, analyzes something, or does anything close enough to those things. all art falls under this rule, including not-drawn art like fanfic).
- Joke/unserious theories are allowed, just tag them as "joke theory". Reblogs of theories you like are allowed too.
- Be respectful of others.
- Trying to find counter evidence to someone's theory is ENCOURAGED, just try to not be rude or mean about it.
Have fun! I hope that we can figure out the game's secrets together.
