This release consists of two AI models and an atlas: ESMC, our state-of-the-art language model that represents proteins; ESMFold2, designed to transform ESMC’s sequence representations into atomically resolved 3D structures; and ESM Atlas, a dataset and tool that makes these representations navigable across 6.8 billion protein sequences.

All are openly available at biohub.ai/esm/p… so scientists everywhere can use them and build on them.

Today we're starting to roll out Incognito Chat with Meta AI on WhatsApp and the Meta AI app -- a completely private way to interact with AI, similar to how end-to-end encryption means no one can read your conversations, even Meta or WhatsApp. This is the first major AI product where there is no log of your conversations stored on servers.

Incognito Chat handles all AI inference in a Trusted Execution Environment that ensures your messages are not accessible to us. The conversations on your phone also disappear when you exit the session. This is different from other disappearing AI products where your conversations logs often remain on other companies' servers for many months.

Today we're sharing our new model family, Muse, and releasing our first model, Spark. You can try them in Meta AI.

Nine months ago, we founded Meta Superintelligence Labs with the goal of putting personal superintelligence in everyone's hands. We believe that empowering people to pursue their individual aspirations is how humanity has always made progress, and we believe that will continue to be true in the future as well. Our work so far has focused on establishing strong scientific and technical foundations to methodically scale larger and more capable models. Today we are sharing our first milestone: Muse, our new family of models. Spark, the first model in the Muse family, powers a new version of Meta AI that you can try today. It's a world-class assistant and particularly strong in areas related to personal superintelligence like visual understanding, health, social content, shopping, games, and more. You can try the new Meta AI in the app or at meta.ai. Looking ahead, we plan to release increasingly advanced models that push the frontier of intelligence and capabilities, including new open source models. We are building products that don't just answer your questions but act as agents that do things for you. I am optimistic that this will support a wave of creativity, entrepreneurship, growth, and health. I'm looking forward to sharing more soon.
