Calling all Indie authors who have commissioned art for their books. I have a question! I am looking to commission some digital illustrations for my books. This is new territory for me. I would be using them for promo/swag. When you commission art, are you typically buying the rights to the artwork forever, or are you licensing it for a set time frame? Being new to thing- I want to make sure I know what the common pratices/industry standards are. indieauthor
