at the outpatient surgery center: • Russell from Up sat across from us in the lab waiting room (I was wearing red and pink pants so I feel he clocked my teacher energy) and performed a full monologue while playing his racing game. We laughed so hard we cried • An old man was asleep with his hat over his eyes and they called out “Bill?” and he windmilled back to life

• When the doctor started telling H about the foot plate install, they asked “wait if my foot gets cut off will they be able to identify my body with it???” • While my sweet beloved was in recovery, they asked at least three people if the crutches would be free

Here is a no fail teacher gift. Take a $20 bill. Tape it to the top of a piece of paper. Under that write Twenty Reasons We Love Mrs. (Her Name). Below that make a list of 20 things. Some from you and some from your kid. Be specific. Attach a picture of your kid. I promise you that it will be her favorite gift. (If $20 is too much, do it with $10 or $5.
