I spent part of Father’s Day at a screening of The Dads put on by the Human Rights Campaign here in Chicago. I interviewed the director - Luchina Fisher - and one of the key participants - Stephen Chukumba - last month. I was excited to meet them in person and to hear more from some of the other Dads featured in the movie. Some thoughts on the film and the ideas of gender it uses strategically.
