Arti explained how operating grids has become much more complex as more renewables, distributed renewables, or intermittent generation from renewables come online. Being able to leverage AI in grid operations is vital.

Closing, Arti reiterated that AI isn’t free, from a resource and environmental standpoint; it means we have to be thoughtful and intentional about its use.
