The Publishing Post is a magazine for those who wish to learn more about publishing, by providing a platform where, as contributors and readers, publishing hopefuls can develop industry-specific knowledge and skills, whilst showcasing their passion and love for the publishing industry!
Within each issue, The Publishing Post covers everything from publishing news to interviews with those working in the industry, from children’s publishing to chart trends.
The platform works to represent parts of the publishing industry and bookish community that are often overlooked in traditional discourse and improve accessibility and diversity within the industry by opening it up to as many people as we can.
We collaborated with Bonnier Books UK to host a virtual event with colleagues from departments such as Editorial, Marketing, Design, PR, Audio, Rights and HR. Each department rep spoke through their typical day and shared some ways to get into their roles. We also spoke to a recruiter to discuss tips and tricks for applications.
