Teaching style

Just as rivers flow and change their course, every learner’s journey is unique, dynamic, and ever evolving. At Rivers of Learning, I create neurodiversity-affirming, strength-based resources that assume competence and honor all forms of communication. My materials are engaging, hands-on learning supports designed especially for autistic students and learners with diverse needs. I especially love crafting adapted activities and books featuring vivid, eye-catching images that capture students’ attention while building communication and independence skills. My products include adaptive books, social stories, morning meeting activities, regulation tools, and visuals optimized for both low-tech and high-tech AAC users, making them perfect for autism classrooms, special education settings, and differentiated independent work systems. Building strong connections and designing student-centered classrooms where every learner can thrive is my passion. I believe learning is not one-size-fits-all, but a continuous, flexible process shaped by each student’s individual strengths, needs, and moments of growth. Every resource here supports independence, engagement, and self-expression — meeting learners where they are today and adapting as they grow. My goal is to provide meaningful, accessible resources that empower both students and educators on their learning journey. Thank you for visiting Rivers of Learning — a space dedicated to honoring and supporting the unique flow of every learner’s path.
