I am a passionate educator with over 24 years of teaching experience across a wide range of grade levels, from Kindergarten through university students. Throughout my career, I have taught English, Mathematics, and Science, creating engaging, differentiated, and student-centered learning experiences. I currently specialize in developing high-quality resources for Pre-K, Kindergarten, and Grade 1, including phonics, early literacy, mathematics, science, critical thinking, STEM/STEAM activities, hands-on learning, lesson plans, assessments, and differentiated worksheets and hands-on games. My resources are designed to support diverse learners, including EAL/ELL students, gifted learners, and students who need additional support. As an experienced educator, I understand the importance of saving teachers time while providing meaningful, curriculum-aligned differentiated, hands-on activities that make learning fun, interactive, and effective. Every resource in Hurria’s Learning Hub is classroom-tested and created with care to help young learners build confidence and develop a love for learning.

My teaching style is student-centered, hands-on, and engaging. I believe children learn best through meaningful experiences that encourage exploration, creativity, and critical thinking. I use a variety of teaching strategies, including differentiated instruction, interactive games, visual supports, manipulatives, STEM/STEAM activities, and real-world connections to meet the needs of every learner. I create a positive and inclusive learning environment where students build confidence, develop independence, and enjoy learning through play and discovery. My resources are designed to support different learning styles, making lessons fun, practical, and easy to implement in the classroom or at home. As an educator, my goal is to provide teachers and parents with high-quality, classroom-tested resources that inspire curiosity, strengthen foundational skills, and make teaching both effective and enjoyable.

Throughout my teaching career, I have had the privilege of making a positive impact on students from Kindergarten to university level. One of my greatest achievements is seeing my students grow into confident, independent learners who enjoy exploring new ideas and reaching their full potential. Some of my proudest teaching moments include: Over 24 years of successful teaching experience across multiple grade levels. Designing engaging, differentiated, and hands-on learning resources that support diverse learners. Creating interactive lesson plans, STEM/STEAM activities, phonics resources, math games, and science materials used in the classroom. Helping young learners build strong foundations in literacy, numeracy, critical thinking, and problem-solving. Supporting fellow educators by sharing practical, classroom-tested teaching resources that save time and increase student engagement. I believe that every child can succeed when learning is meaningful, interactive, and enjoyable. My greatest reward is seeing students become confident, curious, and excited about learning every day.

Master of Education (M.Ed.) My education, combined with over 11 years of teaching experience, has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to teach learners from Kindergarten through university level. I have experience with both American and British curricula and am passionate about creating engaging, differentiated, and hands-on learning resources that help every student succeed. I believe in lifelong learning and continuously strive to develop innovative, classroom-tested resources that support teachers, parents, and young learners around the world.
