Swan could not operate without the wide support of those in our community, and further afield. Our dedicated volunteers manage, maintain, fundraise, promote and operate Swan. We have a range of both individuals and companies which donate goods and/or money to help with our annual costs, and have also received funds from a range of funding bodies and corporate sponsors to purchase capital items and/or deliver one off events and projects.

We would like to thank Shetland Charitable Trust for its support towards our annual costs to operate and maintain Swan. And the combination of Shetland Islands Council's Coastal Communities Fund, Arven Offshore Wind Farm, Lerwick Port Authority and Peterson Energy Logistics for the funding package which will see a significant upgrade to the boat's Forepeak section in winter 2025.
We would also like to highlight the fantastic support the Trust receives from Shetland’s seafood industry, including its pelagic fleet and many other fisheries and aquaculture related businesses. The industry coming together is very humbling, and shows the importance of the work of the Trust and its volunteers.
