Speed Oy was founded in 1992. We are a privately owned Finnish company and we offer unit transports of high quality. We deliver containers from all container ports in Finland. The Speed team operates nearly 50 trucks.

Finnish values guide our operations – the company’s ownership and financing have been 100% Finnish from the very beginning.

Our clients are shipping companies, their agents, Finnish import and export companies and forwarding agencies.

Furthermore we transport biogas-, hydrogen- and e-methane containers e.g. to all the gas filling stations of Gasum in Southern Finland.

We offer individually tailored logistics services for the container transportation of energy storage batteries (BESS)

We have offices in Vuosaari Harbour, Helsinki; in Mussalo Harbour, Kotka; in Port of Rauma and in Hollola, Lahti area.

Our key targets are customer satisfaction, employee prosperity, good financial result and a minimum environmental load.
Research, development and innovation play a key role on the journey toward cleaner and more cost-efficient modes of transport.

Our vehicle mileage in 2025 was 64 000 TEU.
Our turnover in 2025 was 21 million euros.
