He became one of WWE's defining stars, winning a record 17 world championships while also capturing the United States Championship, Intercontinental Championship, multiple tag team titles, Money in the Bank, and two Royal Rumble matches. Cena retired from in-ring competition at the end of 2025 after completing his WWE retirement tour.
