Pictorem was founded by a team of passionate shutterbugs with a shared love for art and photography. Our mission is simple: to create the highest quality wall art and provide customers with the widest range of products found online.

The beginning of the road
While preparing for a photographic event and desperately trying to produce the best results on canvas, founder Fabien Dormoy decided to make an investment in a state-of-the-art printing press and take responsibility for doing his own printing. After weeks of testing and tweaking to acheive the best resolution, colors and visual impact, all from his garage, the results were exceptional. The overwhelming feedback inspired Fabien to begin marketing and selling on demand printing services online.
Connecting with artists and Creating the Pictorem virtual art gallery
Many artists approached Pictorem to host their imagery, so we decided to launch an online gallery where customers were able to purchase directly from the artists. We signed up more than 50 artists and became their manufacturing and logistic partner, transforming their digital content into high-quality made-to-order wall art, ready to ship worldwide.
Improving our product offering
After mastering our Canvas printing and Framing process, we moved to a larger manufacturing space and began printing on other materials such as Acrylic and Metal. We also began serving wall art dealers and various resellers.
Pictorem merge with Cine-Affiches
After establishing itself as a leading player in the made-to-order wall art sector, Pictorem joined forces with the remarkable Montreal based printing company, Cine-affiches. This merger marks the beginning of a new and promising chapter for both companies.
New Factory
we merged our two factories into one larger, state-of-the-art facility. This new location will allow us to expand our production capacity, improve efficiency, and continue to innovate in the world of custom art printing.

Pictorem is currently focused on introducing new products, to become the primary source for professionals and amateur artists who want to transform their digital content into high-quality pieces of art.
