Opportunities to Serve with One Collective

Short-Term
(1-9 Months)

Serve for a summer or a few months anytime during the year. Join a team and explore what serving is like. Experience local culture, start meaningful relationships, and grow personally as your worldview expands.

Mid-Term
(Up to 2 Years)

Move to a community and join ongoing work. Integrate into another culture and develop close relationships. See change happen and take ownership of strategic initiatives or projects that contribute to long-term strategy.

Long-Term
(2+ Years)

Build deep relationships and shape long-term strategy. Empower community members to take ownership of change. Become a key contributor to initiatives and projects driving change - and see transformation spread.

The Serving Process:

If you’re interested in serving, our team will walk with you on every step of the journey. Click any item to learn more.

  • A serving coach will work with you and learn about your passions, skills, and experience - explore roles and potential locations together

  • Get to know field leaders, discuss specifics, and work together with your coach through a process designed to prepare you for the next step.

  • Plans are finalized and your coach will guide you through training that equips you with strategy, fundraising, resources, and support related to your role and location.
