Apex

A simple little thriller. The plot is a basic copy/paste from similar films, and there aren't any big or surprising twists to speak of. Apart from a somewhat pointless intro, this is a familiar thriller where a guy is looking for the next victim of his hunting game, and a woman having none of it.

Theron and Egerton are decent, but it's some fun camera work and proper special effects that lend this film the necessary spice to keep the audience engaged. Other that than, Apex is shameless genre filler that fails to stand out in any way, but as long as you know what you're getting yourself into, it's solid enough.
