Better Vehicles
Subnautica 2 v0.10.0 ready
Mod affects tadpole and its chassis:
- Basic tadpole will have 8 upgrade slots, slightly better base speed and strafe speed,
- Scout chassis is really fast as it should be, better at strafing, but has less inertion - it won't feel a rubber ball anymore.
- Haul chassis has slightly better speed (still feels reasonable heavy), more cargo slots (35) and camera won't be postprocessed so hard (no filmgrain and vignette).
- Seafrog will be slightly faster as well.
Another option - disabled hint/highlight for seats and handles of Haul Chassis. Made specifically for single player, so you won't mistakenly hit it when want to drive Haul.
In Misc Files you can find Better Vehicles version with only one change - upgrade slots increased from 4 to 8.
Installation
Install ONE main version (Better Vehicles) and/or as many optional as you need.
Extract 9 utoc/ucas/pak files from archive to ...\steamapps\common\Subnautica2\Subnautica2\Content\Paks\~mods
Create ~mods folder if you don't have one yet.
Install optional files if needed.
Uninstallation
Delete installed mod files from ~mods folder.
Compatibility
Should be compatible with anything not affecting vehicle assets.
