I am an experienced research development professional specialising in the identification, development, and management of externally funded research projects within the higher education sector. In my role, I work closely with academic staff to support the preparation of competitive funding applications and the successful delivery of research initiatives
I bring a strong background in climate action and sustainability, alongside extensive experience in project management and stakeholder engagement. My work is focused on enabling high-quality, impactful research through collaboration, strategic funding alignment, and effective project support.
I am particularly interested in enabling collaborative research, fostering partnerships, and translating ideas into successful, funded projects that deliver real-world impact.
I hold a PhD in Marine Micro-Palaeontology from Mary Immaculate College, which informs my analytical and evidence-based approach to research development.
