A looping drum set beat is added to the instrumentation whenever the player is driving at top speed while in first place.

In Mario Kart 8, an arrangement of "Waluigi Pinball" plays in DS Wario Stadium. It is likewise titled "DS Wario Stadium" in the official Mario Kart 8 Original Soundtrack album. A looping drum set beat is added to the instrumentation whenever the player is driving at top speed while in first place.

This arrangement returns in the Nintendo Switch port, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, where it plays in the same race course, as well as in DS Waluigi Pinball with its introduction in Wave 2 of the Booster Course Pass, making it the only race course theme in the entire game that is used for multiple courses. Due to this, it is included twice in the Nintendo Music app, being titled both "DS Wario Stadium" and "DS Waluigi Pinball".

A funk rock arrangement of "Waluigi Pinball" can play in Free Roam during the day, on the route from Wario Stadium to Airship Fortress in the Flower Cup, and on any VS Race route during nighttime. It is titled "Waluigi Pinball (Rock) (Mario Kart DS)" in the Nintendo Music app and simply "Waluigi Pinball (Rock Ver.)" in the game's pause menu.

A jazz-funk arrangement of "Waluigi Pinball" can play exclusively in Free Roam during nighttime. It is titled "Waluigi Pinball (Funk) (Mario Kart DS)" in the Nintendo Music app and simply "Waluigi Pinball (Funk Ver.)" in the game's pause menu.
