Super Mario 3D World levels

Snowball Park, otherwise known as World 3-1, is the first course of World 3 in Super Mario 3D World and its Nintendo Switch port Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury. This level consists mostly of snow and ice. Since it is the first level of the world, there are no unlocking criteria besides unlocking the world itself. This is one of the only two levels in the game, the other being Ty-Foo Flurries, to feature the Ice Skate that can be equipped by defeating Skating Goombas. This is also the first level to feature the Super Leaf, and the first where the player can find it in a ? Block. The music heard in this course is an arrangement of the music that plays in the snow levels from Super Mario 3D Land. Completion of this level unlocks both Chain-Link Charge and Shifty Boo Mansion.

The background of the Snow theme of the Super Mario 3D World style in Super Mario Maker 2 appears to be based on Snowball Park, except it is set in the daytime, similar to Ty-Foo Flurries.

LayoutEdit

The level starts in a snowy area with some Snow Pokeys nearby. After avoiding some more Snow Pokeys, a squadron of Para-Biddybuds, and a Skating Goomba which the player can choose to ride, they reach the Checkpoint Flag. An area with ice and more Skating Goombas follows, followed by some more enemies and icy walkways. The player can now enter a nearby pipe in order to get to an area containing some trees and the Goal Pole.

CollectablesEdit

Green StarsEdit

In a hole in a wall guarded by nine Para-Biddybuds.
After the checkpoint, a small Rabbit contains the second Green Star.
Just before the pipe that leads to the end of the level, the player should climb the tree and use either Tanooki Mario or a Propeller Box to fly, or Cat Mario to climb, over to the third Green Star that is inside an alcove in the wall.

StampEdit

Image Location
