🚨 This week, Governor Katie Hobbs and the Arizona Department of Housing announced a major expansion of the Arizona Is Home program, a statewide initiative helping first-time, low-to-moderate-income homebuyers unlock the dream of homeownership. The program is set to help nearly 1,000 families across Arizona become homeowners through enhanced down payment assistance and reduced mortgage interest rates. Since launching in 2024, Arizona Is Home has already helped more than 500 households, and with this next phase, even more working families will have the chance to build their futures right here in Arizona. Thanks to strong partnerships with the state’s Industrial Development Authorities, even more communities across Phoenix, Tucson, Maricopa County, Pima County and rural Arizona will benefit from this next phase. The Arizona Department of Administration’s video team (Matthew Torres-Gomez, Hannah Moulton Belec, and Jim Bednarz) recently produced a video about what Arizona Is Home has meant to users. Check out the video to learn more: https://lnkd.in/gCP3YEeB And visit the Arizona Is Home page to see if you qualify for assistance. https://lnkd.in/gP9_D-Jm #ArizonaIsHome #FirstTimeHomebuyers #AffordableHousing #StateOfArizona

Last week the Arizona Department of Administration celebrated and bid farewell to Deputy Director Ray DiCiccio as he embarked on his well-deserved retirement. After 30 years of service to the agency, Ray is looking forward to enjoying football games, plays, doing work around the house and traveling with his family. Ray served as a deputy director of the Arizona Department of Administration since June 2019. Previously he led the Risk Management Division for ADOA, which included statewide property, liability and workers’ compensation claims management; loss prevention; environmental remediation; risk financing; excess insurance and occupational health. Prior to this, Ray was the state risk management finance and insurance manager. Several agency directors spoke at Ray’s retirement celebration about his thoughtfulness, care and kindness as a leader; his work affected and helped countless people. Thank you to Ray—a public servant through and through—for all his service and dedication to the people of Arizona. With Ray’s departure also comes an introduction—of new ADOA Deputy Director Tim Tait. Congratulations to Tim. We have a great legacy and a bright future ahead at ADOA!
