Think you know the GLP-1 landscape? Here’s one stat about persistence that might surprise you: in one study, a third of people stopped taking their GLP-1 for weight management in the first month. Why? Real-world challenges like access, cost, side effects, and issues around self-administered injections. In Omada’s Enhanced GLP-1 Care Track, it’s a different story. 94% of members were persistent on their medication at 3 months, while 84% were persistent through 6 months. How did members who stayed on their medication fare with weight loss and program engagement? Read our full report to find out. Read it now: https://lnkd.in/eWFPyUCk

📣 Exciting news from Omada Health! New claims data analysis demonstrated lower healthcare utilization and spending, compared to traditional in-person PT, for members in the Omada for Joint & Muscle Health program. 🏥💡 Published in PTJ: Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation Journal and using claims data sourced from HealthVerity, this study revealed a reduction in overall healthcare utilization and MSK-related costs, leading to over $1,000 in gross median savings per member at both six and 12 months. As MSK-related treatments account for nearly 15% of employer medical costs, Omada's virtual MSK program presents a compelling, cost-effective option for physical therapy. 🌟 This month, we're celebrating MENA Heritage Month at Omada, recognizing the rich tapestry of Middle Eastern and North African cultures, traditions, and contributions to our society. The MENA region represents a vibrant mosaic of identities - from diverse languages like Arabic, Persian, Hebrew, Turkish, and Amazigh, to distinctive art forms, music, and culinary traditions that have enriched global culture. Our MENA ERG is hosting a special virtual performance and conversation, "Finding Home Through Music & Story," exploring what it means to find "home" away from home through live music and storytelling. Through these shared experiences, we'll discover how creativity can become a bridge across distances and a vessel for identity and connection. We're honored to create spaces where all employees can share their heritage, learn from one another, and build a more inclusive workplace together. 🌍 #MENAHeritageMonth #BelongingAtOmada

Excited to share new insights from members in our Enhanced GLP-1 Care Track! The latest analysis reveals the importance of medication persistence. We found that, on average, members in the Enhanced GLP-1 Care Track not only actively engaged with the program, they also received support in staying on their GLP-1 medications long enough to see clinically meaningful results. Why does this matter? 🌟Medication and lifestyle support don't exist in silos - they work together. 🌟 Investing in these medications is more likely to be worthwhile for those who persist on a GLP-1 medication long enough to experience the medication’s intended clinical results, while also learning the skills needed to maintain these benefits.
