🎉 Big win for access to care in Illinois: the state recently enacted Senate Bill 2153, eliminating unnecessary restrictions for Illinois residents who want to see a physical therapist virtually. No more documented hardship requirements. No more treating virtual care as an exception. What does this mean? People across Illinois now have increased access to care, when they need it, and where they need it. It was an honor to have Starlet Smith, MBA share her Hinge Health member story on stage at our Movement Conference earlier this year. Mental health and physical health are inseparable. Over 12 million adults in the U.S. grapple with both chronic pain and mental health conditions. Gered, a project manager and father of two, injured his shoulder in a bike accident when he was a kid. The pain from that accident persisted through adulthood.
