TWO paramedics who treated a walker with suspected broken ankles off an Anglesey island had to be rescued themselves.

Until now the proud title has been held by the Anglesey island village of - wait for it - Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllan-tysiliogogogoch.

The winner of the men's 11k race was Stockport's Andi Jones, the six-time Snowdon Race winner and reigning Anglesey Island Race Half Marathon champion, in 40.17.
