Fran Sundblad (AKA: CrazyGnomenclature) is an independent, Minnesota-based cartoonist, and probably a really cool person once you get to know her. Known best for her webcomic series Tiff & Eve, Fran is a traditional cartoonist that prefers to work in paper and ink.
Outside of comic making, Fran enjoys biking, swimming, and stereoscopic photography. She lives in Southern Minnesota with her partner Leif and cat Dabbers.

Tiff & Eve in Trickfilm #9 May 19, 2026 
Chuck Baker, the creator of the webcomic Lauren Ipsum, interviewed me for his Trickfilm zine. He asked some really great questions and we got pretty in-depth. It’s $5 and supports indie comics. You can order it HERE.
Side note, this interview was done via a messenger and there would be spaces of time between his questions and my replies. Somewhere in between there the ICE Surges occurred and I got very distracted by that for weeks. So technically this interview took months and it was very much my fault. The lesson here is never expect me to stay on task for more than a day or so.
