Excessive CPU usage sending data to Amazon.
suddenly began having issues with cursor lag and not tracking with my pen tablet and spikes in network usage every other second on 64bit win 7 ultimate. Did not recognize 2x RdrCEF.exeunder adobe reader process tree in task manager, killed it and system resumed normal function. may not be malicious but is definitely buggy on my system. voxleo
Tried to uninstall due to heavy network and CPU usage, but couldn't because its absence is preventing Adobe from running. Extremely annoying. Lou
we noticed a huge spike in memory usage for this process (4gb ram per user) and blocked it using GPO, so far we did not encounter any side effects. MrJoe
Blocked it in Kaspersky and all that cursor blinkering disappeared as well as this process. RIP Nick
Encountered case of multiple instances of this application running, using approx. 50MB memory per instance and some running 1-2% CPU usage with no open window or activity. Forced close and application automatically reoccurs while Adobe Reader is still open. Using excessive resources with no usage. Jon
rdrCEF acts as virus - won't stay closed Furthermore acrobat demands to reboot computer to finish update - no way to just close it without it sitting in tray wanting to reboot if I click the wrong button ABOBE IS NOT THE SYSTEM - JUST A PROGRAM
