Released on YouTube and WePresent, the satirical short written and directed by Aneil Karia, stars Jack Lowden as a right-wing, anti-immigration politician.

Produced for WePresent, the arts platform of WeTransfer, the film takes a sharp and darkly comic look at contemporary political culture.

‘A MUSTARD SEED’ WINS BEST SHORT FILM AT THE LONDON INDEPENDENT FILM FESTIVAL!

We’re excited to share that ‘A MUSTARD SEED’, featuring Costume Design by echo’s Buki Ebiesuwa, was awarded Best Short Film (Genesis Award) at the London Independent Film Festival.

Directed by Femi Oladigbolu and produced by Harris Dickinson, the film follows Mide, a young man raised in a strict Nigerian Christian Pentecostal household in Britain, as he navigates grief, doubt and faith.

The film stars Hope Ikpoku Jnr as Mide and Tayo Aluko as Pastor Tayo, and is available to watch on BBC iPlayer.

‘MARIE MADELEINE’ PREMIERED AT CANNES FILM FESTIVAL YESTERDAY!

‘MARIE MADELEINE’, featuring echo’s Director of Photography Nicolas Canniccioni, premieres yesterday at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival in the Cannes Première section.

The film is a new feature by Géssica Généus, continuing her exploration of identity and culture.

The Cannes Film Festival runs from 12th–23rd May 2026.

‘JEAN-MICHEL’ SET FOR TRIBECA PREMIERE, FEATURING ECHO’S DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY JO JO LAM!

We’re pleased to share that 'JEAN-MICHEL', a feature documentary on Jean-Michel Basquiat, featuring work by echo’s Director of Photography Jo Jo Lam, will premiere at Tribeca Film Festival this summer as part of the Documentary Competition.

Directed by Viridiana Lieberman and Quinn Whitney Wilson, the film offers an intimate look at one of the 20th century’s most celebrated and imitated artists, told through the perspective of his family.

'JEAN-MICHEL' premieres on 5th June, with Tribeca running from 3rd –14th June 2026.

'LEGENDS' OUT NOW ON NETFLIX WITH WORK BY NAPOLEON STRATOGIANNAKIS!

We’re pleased to share that 'LEGENDS' is now streaming on Netflix, with echo’s Napoleon Stratogiannakis as editor on episodes 2 + 4.

Directed by Brady Hood and created by Neil Forsyth, the six-part series stars Tom Burke, Steve Coogan and Hayley Squires.

Inspired by one of the most remarkable criminal investigations ever conducted, ‘LEGENDS’ follows undercover Customs agents in the 1990s using fake identities to infiltrate drug smuggling gangs.

SAM SNEADE’S WORK ON ‘SEXY BEAST’ AND ICONIC GUINNESS ‘SURFER’ RECOGNISED!

A look at standout work from echo’s Sam Sneade, whose editing continues to be recognised across film and advertising.

Jonathan Glazer’s ‘SEXY BEAST’ (2001), edited by echo’s Sam Sneade, was recently featured in The Guardian’s ‘The Seven Best Films to Watch on TV This Week’, highlighting the film’s enduring impact as a modern British classic. The film is available to watch on Channel 4.

Sam also edited the iconic 1999 Guinness ‘Surfer’ commercial, directed by Jonathan Glazer and created by AMV BBDO, which was honoured during the British Arrows 2026 celebrations, marking 50 years of British advertising. The commercial was ranked the 3rd best British ad of all time in a poll announced in March 2026.

A testament to the lasting impact of Sam’s work across both film and advertising.

We’re pleased to share ‘Who are ya?’ campaign, directed by Spike Lee for Arsenal, featuring Costume Design by echo’s George Buxton.

Produced by Uncommon, the short film brings together a cast of actors, players, supporters and club legends, including Thierry Henry, Rachel Yankey and Aaron Pierre.

What begins as a familiar pub debate soon shifts, as the conversation moves beyond tactics and players into the financial language of modern football, reflecting the growing awareness supporters have of the business behind the game.

‘THE CAGE’, a five-part BBC crime thriller, is now out on BBC, featuring editing by echo’s Kim Gaster on episodes 1, 3 and 5.

Written by Tony Schumacher and directed by Al Mackay, the series stars Sheridan Smith and Michael Socha. Set in Liverpool, it follows two casino workers who secretly steal from the same safe, setting off a dangerous game of survival.

Written and directed by Thea Gajić in her feature debut, the film follows Yugoslavian refugee Vlad as he builds a new life in Bristol while battling addiction. We’re excited to share Paul McCartney’s new album teaser, marking his first new album in six years 'THE BOYS OF DUNGEON LANE', featuring Production Design by echo’s Paix Robinson, BFDG and Costume Design by echo’s Frank Gallacher.

Directed by Charlotte Wells and Produced by MJZ, the project draws on personal history to shape a reflective and intimate visual piece.

The album is inspired by Paul McCartney’s childhood in post-war Liverpool and described as a collection of revealing glimpses into never-before shared memories.
