From Early Earth Biogeodynamics to Exoplanet Geoastronomy
By offering a mixture of personal history with scientific vignette, this Geochemical Perspectives issue, by Stephen J. Mojzsis, explores the problems and potentials we face in understanding how life began on our planet with particular focus on plausible surface conditions in the Hadean eon. Discussion and debate over how, when, where (and even why) life emerged on our planet is used as a springboard for using geochemical principles to make sense of astrophysical phenomena.
Geochemical Perspectives is an open access EAG publication created for the community. 31 issues have now been published and present a valuable resource to all scientists in geochemistry and related fields. EAG members Geochemical Perspectives in print.
