The best sound is 4 sides of 45rpm not two sides of 33 assuming we are about 40mins or more for a recording. 30 mins, maybe not. There are some albums that MUST not be done as 4 sides of 45 as they are conceptual and thematic and may even have songs... See full review

Lovely quiet vinyl, obviously a public domained MCPS edition. Sound is at best ok... rather lacking depth and richness. I know the recording itself isnt the most saturated but this is still a step back from my recent UHQCD

Often the case wirh RTI pressings.... you esse tially have to clean and polish the grooves of RTI presses by cleaning and playing a few times. This tends to drop the noise floor which improves everything. Its been the case for me with QRP at times too.

This is a MUCH better pressing than the terrible 2024 reissue. While both of them use the same 2009/2010 mix as the source, this press doesnt have ruinous surface noise and plays FAR cleaner. This makes it sound better too. Ive stated it alot... See full review

As far as i can tell the EU / US copies of this feature identical Optimal black or gold pressings in all but identical thick(ish) card stock sleeves but with slight manufacturer text changes om the rear of the tip on.

Three copies tried from different UK retailers and all heat warped to varying degrees. Ive kept the flattest but the arm is still quite bouncy! Thankfully it plays quite true and very quiet and the sound of this fine recording breathes.

The AP has better packaging. This has much better sound. Both the 2011 OJC Cookin and Relaxin beat their AP counterparts. More life, more verve and less tape anomolies. Its surprisingly not even close. If those 2011 OJC were packaged ala the AP... See full review

No complaints from me. Good job done by Optimal plant (not a given by any means) and a quiet and flat record. Sounds decent enough with it. The more i listen to this album the more i think its up with some of 2Pacs best work, yet it goes far less noticed. See full review
